Visit to Hope River Farm.

Visit to Hope River Farm.  Link: http://www.hoperiver.ca/

We visited the Hope River Farm and I bonded with a chicken. Well… You will see that it is one nice hen. And she  can cluk all right.

I lost more than 50% of my video footage today. I’m not real happy about that. I did a video on my oil catch can and then a video with Heidi’s grandma. We took her out to dinner. We also visited the bottle house of PEI. A neat and weird place.

We had a really nice visit with Grandma and got some great video and stills. All lost..

Here is what I got: (If it uploads…)

Wax On Wax Off

Wax On Wax Off. I waxed Ian’s boat twice today and I’m not happy with the job I did. So I fired myself and we went to town shopping and to deliver a couch to Auntie Zena.

I needed to shop for things to build my oil catch can. I got the stuff I needed and built it tonight. That will be in a separate video.

Here is today’s with Special Muckbang! (Once it’s uploaded.)

Cavendish Beach National Park Day

Cavendish Beach National Park Day.

It was a day at the beach. Lots of relaxation and ice cream.

Lawn mowers too! A broken SD card prevented some really cool lawn mower shots… If the grass grows quick I may get another chance at that shot.

Here is today’s movie. (When it’s done uploading.)

PEI Made it!

Posted on Updated on

PEI Made it! Wen arrived on the island at around lunch time. The drive form Grand Falls was uneventful. We did find out that it is tourist season on PEI once we arrived. (You can tell by the speed people drive. 20km/h under the limit…. It’s tourist season!)
We are staying at Ian and Mary’s place. (In-laws) It’s a beautiful farm about 5km from the tourist Mecca of Green Gables.
I have to admit that I have a lot of fun with the whole Ann thing. I pretend that she is real and make silly comments in public alluding to seeing her etc.
Gilbert the traveling fish is happily swimming  on the coffee table in the dining room.

Traveling Fish!

Traveling Fish! 15 hours of driving and not near where I wanted to be. 8 of those hours were through torrential rain though. That slowed us down a lot.

Now I’m in a motel some place in NB. We chose a motel because of the rain. It would have taken 2 more hours to get past the rain and we lost an hour to time zone changes.

Gilbert is doing great! See: https://youtu.be/8UMy7QyEupk

SAAB oil filler neck.

Posted on Updated on

SAAB oil filler neck. A simple thing to  change. A couple of hoses and one 10mm bolt. Done. Hardly got dirty.
I changed the spark plugs just before I did the oil filler neck.
The old ones had 70000km on them. That’s how many km I have put on the car. I changed them once I got the car 3 years ago.

Swim, Reunion, then drive 4 hours home.
We had a  great time up North camping and visiting Heidi’s cousins. They are all nice people. they all had kids too. So Jasmine had fun playing and meeting her (2nd or 3rd?) cousins..
The drive home went well and Heidi went through the camping stuff culling a few things we didn’t use this time.
Hope we bring a axe next time. Long socks too…

Awenda and Tiny. Sat July 9 2016

Awenda Provincial park is amazing! It is huge. Like 2000 acres huge! (I may be off on the actual size but it is huge!) https://www.ontarioparks.com/park/awenda

We had a great time. It rained off and on Friday into Saturday but we were dry. (We took the big tent. 8 person) There was a huge storm that passed through just before we got to the campground Friday. It knocked down a lot of trees in the park. One behind our site!

I tried to upload these videos from my phone but had no luck with the spotty cell coverage.

So it went up today on the trip home. (By it’s self…?)

The editing is all in camera edits. The editing software on my phone has done some funky stuff…
